Kashmir – Paradise on Earth

The word "Kashmir" evokes visions of snow-covered mountains, emerald valleys, shimmering lakes, colorful tulip gardens, and saffron fields swaying in the breeze. Known as “Heaven on Earth”, Kashmir is not just a place—it’s an emotion, a dreamland of surreal beauty and timeless charm. Nestled in the northernmost region of India, Kashmir is a part of the larger region of Jammu & Kashmir and now exists as a Union Territory of India.

Rich in natural splendor, cultural heritage, and spiritual calm, Kashmir is one of the most iconic travel destinations in the world. It appeals to every kind of traveler—nature lovers, honeymooners, trekkers, photographers, and those seeking peace and rejuvenation.

Kashmir's history is rich and complex, influenced by Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and Sufism over the centuries. It was once part of Ashoka's Mauryan Empire, then became a center of Buddhist learning, and later saw the rise of Muslim rulers, especially under the Mughals, who left a deep impact on its architecture and culture.
